Moving Forward Together
Join us on 1/8/21 from 11:00a-12:30p
"I've been so grateful for the creation of the Indigenous Educators Unite group in this time of chaos and confusion. It has been a space where we can talk, discuss, grieve and hope together. Although we represent vastly different communities from all over Arizona and the country, our communities face similar histories and similar challenges. Our similarities also embody our shared values and dreams for our People and it binds us all together. We are combining our power and dedication to Native Education through the use of technology and discussing ways that we can move forward as a community."
- Educator, Advocate and Community Organizer (Tohono O'odham)
"Indigenous Educators Unite is solution oriented, with the intent of breaking the cycle of replacing one problem with another and bringing forth balance so that we can continue to teach in beauty."
-Third Grade Teacher (Diné)
